Patient Rights

Your rights as an NHS patient

Patients Rights

Please let us know if you cannot keep an appointment, as this may be given to another patient. We ask that patients treat all our staff with respect. Violence or abuse will not be tolerated under any circumstances and patients will be asked to leave the practice if they are abusive.

In return, we undertake to treat everyone equally, regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. We will inform you in writing if we ask you to leave the practice, together with an explanation of why we have made the decision. We also welcome comments, criticism and praise. It is helpful if complaints are made in writing either to the doctors or the practice manager

We would be grateful if you would complete this survey about your recent treatment. The surgery wants to provide the highest standard of care. Feedback from this survey will enable us to identify areas that may need improvement. Your opinions are therefore very valuable. Please answer ALL the questions that apply to you. There are no right or wrong answers and your doctor will NOT be able to identify your individual responses. Thank you.
